Selection Process - Part 3

  • June 10, 2018

7:30 AM, breakfast.

8:30 AM, a presentation on tax regulations related to patronage and sponsorship, followed by a briefing for a simulated navigation exercise. I quickly took notes, gathered the necessary documents (VAC chart, navigation log), and we each spent an hour preparing our route. The task was to navigate from Vannes to Quimper, passing through two mandatory checkpoints, with reasonable weather conditions. Thankfully!

10:00 AM, we returned to finish our posters and rehearse our presentations for the jury.

1:00 PM, lunch, at the cafeteria!

2:00 PM, the group interviews began in a separate room. Our group was the second to present. Our performance was decent; the jury noted a few areas that needed further development, but nothing major.

4:30 PM, a group photo was taken outdoors, between the clouds.

5:00 PM, the president of the FFA gave a closing speech.

5:30 PM, the selection process ended. Everyone crossed their fingers, hoping to be accepted. We said our goodbyes and made plans to meet in Chartres, well.. maybe!
